We had our first date in six months — a quick drive to the beach to have tacos in the car while looking at the ocean. Something wonderful happened, too, we got a free coffee and açaí bowl from Better Buzz…they said their credit card machine went down and the order was on them. We also visited the place where we met, The Red Marlin.
My mom sent me this. She started her own medical practice. I’m so proud!! The wonder of doing what you want, any age.
A boy who will not go back to school in person for some time. A town/state/world divided.
Liam had a scavenger hunt on his birthday morning. #4! How wonderful is that? In this box was a big LEGO set!! Still finding wonder amongst birthday parties, amidst the pandemic and all.
This may seem like a low brow wonder. But dang, is it not wonderful when an impromptu recipe tastes divine? This was chicken thighs with purple onion, pineapple (and the juice from a can), rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, dash of olive oil, splash of soy sauce, drizzle of BBQ sauce, spices, and who knows what else? Take the chicken out when it is done. Then thicken the sauce in the crockpot with corn starch. Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli!

In New Mexico, green Chile’s are a delight on everything. But tonight, we had them on pizza. And the spice and unique flavor did not disappoint.
