Sent me into a panic today, and to the Vet’s again. I wondered what had happened, how it got so big. In my gut, I felt the bandage was cutting off her circulation, so I cut it off. We drove away immediately. Later, I learned I was right. She is back in the cone, a new one. Moral, trust your gut. Could save a dog’s life (paw).
And B. Having fun.
On Father’s Day
Someone’s law found herself in the urgent care today. Almost 24 hours later, we found Shiloh cut her paw on something outside. She had to be sedated and get stitches. Now, she has a boot too. On her left paw like me. Makes me just a little bit curious about it all.
Three years ago I broke my pinkie toe, on my right foot. I snagged it on B’s bouncer. Today, I did something similar, but got my left foot. I’m back in the post-op boot. I wonder who else in the world breaks their pinkie toes like me.
I purchased acrylic paint from the internet. And canvases too. I wanted something fun and a little more advanced than crayons. So far, it’s been such a wonder to be a beginner at something. The joy of the act itself. For these two paintings, I followed Bennett’s vision, and we painted together.
