Called, “The Frog in the Log” painted by our neighbor, written by me.
The wonder of new work out in the world:
I’m writing poems this summer. And if you type “Your name + favorite color + Aesthetic” into Google you’ll get your summer 2020 poetry aesthetic, too. I decided this is true.
Dinty Moore describes memoir as having an invisible magnetic river. It stayed on my mind, and came out in art.
I purchased acrylic paint from the internet. And canvases too. I wanted something fun and a little more advanced than crayons. So far, it’s been such a wonder to be a beginner at something. The joy of the act itself. For these two paintings, I followed Bennett’s vision, and we painted together.
Stories start every day. (I made this!)
Nick delivered me dinner tonight with a surprise message. ❤️ U too.
