We had our first date in six months — a quick drive to the beach to have tacos in the car while looking at the ocean. Something wonderful happened, too, we got a free coffee and açaí bowl from Better Buzz…they said their credit card machine went down and the order was on them. We also visited the place where we met, The Red Marlin.
We had a knock on our door and opened it to find about 30 carolers at our door singing “Silent Night.” It was beautiful and a true moment of wonder.
