In reading and friendships. This boy amazes me in his ability to find wonder in any new and regular experience. I love him. A lot!!

Day 205: Grandpa Buddy turns 92

And he grilled his own filet mignon, had baked potato and salad, and a slice of rum cake I sent him. He made the best of a time he usually enjoys by a night out on the town. COVID-19 changes all that. But we can still make the best of what we choose. Best wishes to a great year ahead!

Day 203: Past Selves

And a past sport I was good at and LOVED. This season. When you’re young and in the middle of this you feel like it will last forever, can’t wait until the next best thing. Now, looking back, I could have lived in this season for longer. Much longer.
